With the valve in the closed position, exhaust is routed through the Straightline Performance muffler, producing a deep, refined sound that remains comfortable for long trail rides and noise-sensitive riding areas. When the valve is opened using the remote control, exhaust is redirected through a dedicated side outlet, creating a more aggressive performance tone and allowing exhaust gases to exit through a less restrictive path.

Constructed entirely from premium polished stainless steel, the Vari-Sound Muffler is built for durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability. The system also incorporates an aluminum outer heat shield housing that helps manage heat while providing a clean, factory-quality appearance.
